HEAD COACHES

Coach Moore (Distance & High Jump)

Coach Moore will be entering his 2nd year as the Head Boy’s Cross-Country Coach of the Arcadia program. An Arizona native who ran for Arcadia High School in 2008 through 2009; following Arcadia he was offered an athletic scholarship at Scottsdale Community College where he competed for two years. He contributed to a school best 3rd place finish in the 4x800 Relay at the NJCAA Region I Championships.

Coach Moore hopes to inspire Arcadia athletes to help them lay a great foundation so they can be successful in the sport of Cross Country, he also hopes his athletes take the lessons learned from running and apply it positively to their everyday life. Coach Moore currently enjoys training for the sport of Triathlon, and you can also catch him at various sporting events, and spending time with his two dogs.

Coach Bidlow (Sprints, Jumps & Hurdles)

Coach Bidlow will be entering his first year as Head Boys Track & Field Coach for Arcadia. Originally from Santa Barbara, CA, Coach Bidlow moved to Phoenix in 2013 to run track at Grand Canyon University, specializing in the short sprints (60m/100m/200m).

Following graduation, Coach Bidlow interned with ALTIS, a high performance training organization preparing track athletes for the 2016 Olympic Games. Following ALTIS, Coach Bidlow served as First Assistant Coach for Santa Barbara City College, leading the training for all sprinters, horizontal jumpers, hurdlers, and throwers.

In addition to coaching at Arcadia, Coach Bidlow provides consulting services and educational content for coaches and athletes around the world, with a particular emphasis on sprint training and strength training. In his free time, you can catch Coach Bidlow training for or competing in the short sprints, making YouTube videos, or spending time with his family.

Coach Bidlow looks forward to helping student-athletes reach their potential, preparing athletes with the skills to do well in both competition and life after sports.

ASSISTANT COACHES

Coach Boustila (Distance)

Coach Boustila started teaching and coaching in the Scottsdale Unified School District in 1997. She is entering her 5th season as the AHS Girls’ Cross-Country/Track Coach and her 24rd year teaching mathematics at Arcadia High School. Born and raised in Arizona, Coach (Wagner) Boustila attended Scottsdale Coronado High School from 1989 to 1992 where she participated in all three sports seasons year round (Cross-Country, Basketball and Softball). She was a three time Basketball State Champion and a Cross-Country State top 3 finisher. 

Coach Boustila was a dual-sport athlete in College and competed at the National level. First, at Yavapai College (1992-1994) where her cross-country teams finished 5th and 3rd in the Nation, and then, at Fort Lewis College where she was the Women’s Cross-Country Team Captain while pursuing her teaching degree. 

“I believe cross-country running is one of the best sports for young people. It creates life-long friendships and positive lifestyle habits. I believe that anyone can become a runner. Cross-country challenges individuals at their own pace and abilities. Some strive to be the #1 runner; some just want to participate; all can find their happiness within the sport.” 

Coach Boustila has a Master’s in Education from Arizona State University and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She lives in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband and their three daughters.
